Standard Whole Home Softener + Filtration
City water · most Lubbock homes
The system most Lubbock homes need, and the one we install most often. It handles hardness and chlorine together, so every tap in the house runs soft, filtered water.
Lubbock gives you water that is both hard and chlorinated. The softening resin in this system removes the minerals that leave scale on your fixtures, film on the shower door and spots on your glassware. The carbon handles the chlorine — what you smell when you run a bath, and a large part of why your skin and hair feel dry afterwards.
A brine tank sits alongside, holding the salt the softener draws on to recharge itself. Once it is installed, every faucet, every shower, the washing machine and the water heater are all running treated water.
Key features
- Honest ProValve. Ceramic discs for longer life and less maintenance, a configurable program interface, long-term memory and a 72-hour backup so a power cut doesn't wipe your settings.
- USA-made high-capacity softening resin. 10% crosslinked, which resists chlorine and oxidation and lasts longer than standard resin, at high flow with no pressure drop.
- Granular activated coconut shell carbon. Treats chlorine, chloramine and other contaminants, sized for a long service life.
- Polishing gravel. Supports the resin bed so water distributes evenly instead of channelling straight through.
